Teaching and training our students is the primary concern of the Department of Chemical Engineering; we provide a world-class education, and strive to provide attentive, personalized career development as well. We provide resources to assist with their job search and facilitate networking.
Alumni are encouraged to maintain their network of Columbia contacts and stay in touch with the Department and faculty.

Columbia’s program in Chemical engineering is one of the oldest in the country, and is home to undergraduate and graduate students studying under some of the top researchers and contributors in the field. Our students and alumni possess the technical expertise needed in a variety of industries including chemical engineering, business, management, finance, law, medicine or education.

What is LionSHARE?
LionSHARE is an online database available exclusively to undergraduate students and alumni served by the Center for Career Education.
LionSHARE includes job and internship postings, opportunities to interview with employers on-campus, information on career fairs and other on-campus employer events, and allows you to schedule an appointment with a career counselor.
VMock
Career Connect, a VMock service, is available exclusively for graduate students and alumni served by the Columbia Engineering Graduate Career Placement team and career coaching staff.
